Registration Dates: August 11, 2008-September 8, 2008
Project Begins: September 2, 2008
All technology levels welcome, technology assistance will be available and ideas will be given throughout the project on ways to utilize the technology as well as what you can do for certain parts if you don't have as much access to the technology. The basics you will need: either access to a digital camera or a way to upload pictures of your kids drawings etc (unless you choose to do them on a computer). You or your students will need to have access to one computer to type in all of the completed information about the candidate for others to read. Any other technology is great but not required to complete the project.
Information Must be Uploaded to the Wiki by October 27, 2008
(Details will be provided on uploading and getting information to the wiki)
Election will be held November 3-7th, all students will get to cast their vote.
Project Reflection for Teachers: November 10th-14th
Once enrolled your classroom will be able to move at whatever pace you would like. The only deadline involved is October 27th to get all of your mock candidates information added to the wiki. I will have links with tutorials and other help if you are unsure of how to use a wiki (trust me it is very easy).
The blog that you will receive in an e-mail once you register will be the main form of communication along with some e-mails. On the blog people will be able to post ideas and ask questions throughout the project.
